Part-Time Physician

We are looking for an experienced, board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained MD or DO who is passionate about transforming primary care, and has completed or started training in functional or integrative medicine.

As a part-time medical provider, you will generally have 14 hours of patient care per week, with an additional 6-10 hours per week for lab review, visit preparation, additional patient communication and any clinic related activities, such as team meetings, write ups for articles or blog posts, etc.

You Will:

  • See patients in-person and via telemedicine using the technology platform provided by the practice
  • Provide excellent, personalized patient care according to the guidelines provided by the practice
  • Work closely with a care team including a Health Coach to help patients optimize outcomes and achieve their health and wellness goals
  • Provide mentorship to non-physician staff
  • Participate in patient care program development
  • Assist in the resolution of patient inquiries and requests
  • Complete online charts in a timely and accurate manner
  • Follow organizational policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Represent Empowered Health in the local and broader community
  • Set personal development goals and work on professional growth
  • Continue to advance your medical education

At a minimum, you possess:

  • Board certification (or eligible) in internal medicine, family medicine, or other primary care fields
  • At least two years of experience providing primary care
  • At least two years of clinical practice post-residency
  • Training in integrative and/or functional medicine
  • Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail
  • Desire to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, brand-forward work environment
  • Passion for your personal health and wellness and that of others
  • Licensed in WA
  • DEA license
