Jessica Schneider, MD
Doctor of Internal Medicine in Richland, WA
Dr. Schneider is the CEO and founder of Empowered Health. She is board certified in Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine and has completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona studying under Andrew Weil, MD. She also has training through the Institute of Functional Medicine at Cleveland Clinic and has completed a year of training with the Kalish Institute in 2021.
Dr. Schneider grew up locally in Richland and graduated from Hanford High School. She received a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from Washington State University Honors College, graduating summa cum laude. Her dissertation focused on “Current Health Care Conditions in Guatemala”.
She completed medical school and residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and has clinical experience working at large medical centers, both locally and in Milwaukee. In 2012, Dr. Schneider was awarded a national “Medical Residents Excellence Award” through the National American Menopause Society for excellence in residency and interest in women’s health.
From 2017-2022, Dr. Schneider served as the Medical Director at Recovery and Wellness Center where she supported development of the first partial hospital program for treatment of eating disorders in Eastern Washington.
Dr. Schneider was recognized as a “Young Professional Award Recipient” for professional achievement through the Tri-Cities Journal of Business in 2020. She received an "Entrepreneur of the Year" award from the Richland Rotary Club in 2021 for her work at Empowered Health.
She is active in local organizations, serving as a board director for Gesa Credit Union and the Tri-Cities Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Schneider feels passionate about promoting health and enjoys working with patients to achieve their own health goals. In her free time she enjoys being outside, reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband and children.
Paul Monié, MD, FAAFP, MPH
Doctor of Family Medicine in Richland, WA
Dr. Monié is board-certified in both Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Wyoming and his fellowship in Sports Medicine at Riverstone Health in Billings, Montana.
He also holds a masters degree in public health.
Dr. Monié is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.

Deidra Witherspoon, RN, BSN
Patient Care Management
Deidra Witherspoon has over 20 years of nursing experience. Her background is in Emergency Nursing and Home Health. In addition to her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University she also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Valparaiso University.
Throughout her career she has kept her focus on the quality of care that her patients receive and the importance of patient and caregiver education. Deidra has an insatiable need to care for others which she believes to be one of her greatest strengths. In her spare time, she is likely traveling, shopping or cooking.
