Tip for treating Ulcerative Colitis:

Studies have looked at turmeric supplementation with UC and have shown benefit. Recommended dosing is 1-2 grams daily of turmeric in divided doses. This supplement label should have 95% curcuminoids (the active compound in turmeric) and have piperine added, which supports uptake of the turmeric. For UC benefit, this should be taken on an empty stomach.
