BBQ Sauce
This smoky and spicy barbecue sauce is easy and delicious!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup coconut aminos
- 1/2 cup water
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 6-8 pitted dates
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp chipotle chili powder
- 1/2 tsp ancho chili powder
DIRECTIONS
- Soak the dates for 10-15 minutes in warm water (filtered) to soften. Drain the water and discard.
- Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and mix until a smooth, uniform sauce results. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
